Disabled people and their families face significant challenges in accessing the benefits of outdoor activity, which impacts their physical and mental wellbeing, education, and quality of life. This has only been compounded by the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in country-wide cases of social and physical isolation of those with disabilities.

By donating to Equal Adventure, you can help them break the cycle of inequality, enable us to offer support to those who need it most, and allow more people to engage and enjoy the great outdoors regardless of background or disability. Only donate what you can, every little helps!

Ways in which your donation will help:

Supporting a programme – (a 2 day residential for a family of four with one disabled participant costs up to £2500)
Supporting a placement – (we run everything from 1 week to 1 year placements to inspire the next generation of therapists, designers and engineers; costs vary from £500 to £25,000)
Purchasing and running an accessible Minibus – you can help us purchase a minibus for our activity programmes, to overcome the barrier of inaccessible places and transport for many disabled participants.
Supporting the core costs of our interdisciplinary work with people and emerging professionals, and the day-to-day running costs of the charity itself.
